Requirements and Responsibilities
Development Operations System Administrator maintains and supports the integrity of the operating/hardware system environment and various computer systems. A Development Operations System Administrator interacts with internal customers through a ticket system, email, chat program, or in person. Being a Development Operations System Administrator performs maintenance tasks such as user management, backup/restore, package/software installation, patching and performance tuning. A Development Operations System Administrator deploys or provisions new operating systems in a bare-metal or virtualized environment using approved processes and techniques.  Opens support tickets to third-party vendors such as IBM, Cisco, RedHat.
 
A Development Operations System Administrator will typically have 2-4 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent. A Development Operations System Administrator will coordinate daily activities with a team leader and report to a manager. A Development Operations System Administrator will need to be able to lift 40 pounds.
 
This position is for our Round Rock location and will require candidate to be able to regularly travel to our datacenter in south Austin.
