Action is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our Century Plaza Master team in Century City.
Compensation: $27.00 - $30.00 Hourly plus benefits
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
*This schedule is set and is required for the role.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
The Maintenance Technician II, under the direction and supervision of the Master Association Chief Engineer, maintains and repairs all common property not maintained and repaired by a third party. This includes the common areas and equipment for Century Plaza’s Master Association, South Tower, and North Tower. The Maintenance Technician II will also, at the direction of the Supervisor, perform limited in unit maintenance services. The Maintenance Technician II is a trained responder to property emergencies such as fire, flood, earthquake and other disasters and will be available for emergencies after normal working hours.
Who You Are (Skills/Experience)
-At least 2 years of maintenance experience in residential or commercial buildings. High-rise experience is strongly desired. Must have knowledge of basic hand tools, personal protective equipment, and OSHA standards.
-EPA 608 Certification
-Must be willing to obtain the following certificates: First Aid/CPR, Fire Director Certificate, Weekly Fire Certificate, and OSHA.10
- Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
-Hands-on experience or coursework in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, and Drywall is highly desired
