Action is seeking a full-time Building Engineer II to join our team at Daniel Burnham Court located in San Francisco.
What You'll Do (Job Duties)
- Supervise the onsite maintenance crew
- Oversee all repairs in common areas, ensuring compliance with HOA governing documents.
- Manage daily building operations, ensuring adherence to HOA policies and regulatory standards.
- Optimize the performance of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC.
- Coordinate and supervise work with the onsite maintenance team and external contractors for building maintenance and repairs.
- Responsible for hiring, training and developing onsite maintenance team
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance to extend the life of building systems.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on improvements and modifications to building systems.
Who You Are (Skills / Experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of onsite high-rise or mid-rise building engineer experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial property management.
- Familiar with the Uniform Commercial Building Code
- HOA experience is a plus
- Hands on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting experience.
- Fire system management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Team player attitude
- Must be available by cell phone 24/7 for emergencies
- Certifications/Licenses:
- HVAC Certification
- EPA/608 License
- Fire Pump Certificate preferred
- Fire Life Safety Director Certificate preferred
- Valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance
$45 - $51 an hour
Must be available on-call for after hour emergencies
