The Activation Specialist is at the forefront of inbound inquiries, engaging with prospects who reach out to ActiveCampaign through chat and Zendesk. Their mission is not only to address inquiries but also to close transactional deals and identify larger opportunities to connect with the Sales team. 

What your day could consist of:

    • Timely and Effective Communication: Respond promptly to inquires via live chat and tickets, ensure clear and accurate information is provided, create a positive customer experience through effective communication.
    • Opportunity Identification: Discern potential larger opportunities during interaction, recognize situations requiring sales expertise, identify and capitalize on transactional opportunities.
    • Sales Partnership: Collaborate with the sales team to provide the necessary information, assist in the pursuit and closure of deals arising from chat engagements, and support the sales process by offering context and relevant details.
    • Transactional Deal Closure: Utilize effective sales tactics to close transactional deals, understand and address customer needs and preferences, and navigate the sales process efficiently to meet individual and team goals.
    • Continuous Process Improvement: Provide feedback on customers queries for process optimization, collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, and regularly review and update strategy based on performance analysis.

What we’re looking for:

    • 1-2 years experience in a sales role.
    • Familiarity with SaaS/Martech industry, understanding of key trends, and knowledge of competitive landscape (Preferred).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to adapt to evolving commercial strategies, changing market conditions, and dynamic/varied prospect needs.
    • Proven ability to address challenges, objections, and obstacles.
    • Commitment to achieving results and a history of taking initiative to drive success.
    • Understanding/experience in adopting a customer-centric mindset, focusing on customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, commercial methodologies, and product knowledge.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Experience using technology and software tools, as the role involves showcasing the product and using internal systems.
