As Director, FP&A you will report to the VP of Finance and will play a critical role in driving the financial performance and growth at ActiveCampaign. What your day could consist of:
- Manage a growing team of finance professionals charged with analyzing, forecasting, and improving individual business units (Sales & Marketing, Tech & Product, etc.)
- Coach team members on best practices of being a finance business partner, providing guidance, coaching, and support to promote their growth and development
- Engage with leadership across the business and act as a strategic partner and advisor, helping guide them through key business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments to support the company’s growth
- Work closely with the Corporate Finance team to determine how to achieve company-wide goals by influencing key business leaders
- Implement financial strategies and plans while aligning to the company's overall goals and objectives
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the company’s financial performance
- Partner with Accounting on monthly closes by reconciling actual results to forecast
- Partner with peers in the Finance and Accounting group to optimize processes, systems and analytical tools.
What is needed:
- 12+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or strategic finance with a focus on top line growth
- 6+ years of people management experience, including leading high-performing teams
- Prior experience in SaaS, software, or high-growth technology companies
- Proven ability to understand and proactively communicate the financial implications of business decisions and evolving market dynamics
- Extensive experience preparing and presenting financial analyses, forecasts, and actionable recommendations to executives and senior-level stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Exceptional analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and concise recommendations
- A keen eye for detail with the ability to identify and communicate overarching trends and strategic opportunities to senior management
$171,200 - $235,400 a year
