Are you a design leader who is passionate about both mentoring talented designers and architecting scalable design systems? As our next Manager, Product Design you won't just be managing a team; you'll be a systems architect and a people leader, shaping experiences across our autonomous marketing platform. You will lead the charge in evolving our design system, championing AI-native tools, and empowering designers to build intuitive, impactful products. This is an opportunity to ensure our design foundations are strong and our processes are efficient, all while helping our customers achieve their goals.

On a typical day, you might:

    • Lead and mentor a team of talented designers, guiding their craft, confidence, and career development to deliver scalable, accessible, and visually coherent work
    • Champion our design system as a strategic asset, driving its evolution to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and consistency across every product experience
    • Scale AI-native design practices by encouraging your team to leverage AI as a thought partner and workflow accelerator in prototyping, ideation, and daily workflows
    • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to ensure design influences strategic priorities, facilitating workshops that connect design decisions directly to business outcomes
    • Champion a data-informed user experience by reviewing usability insights and customer feedback to guide your team in designing workflows that measurably improve customer outcomes
    • Drive operational excellence by managing project timelines and balancing team capacity to ensure milestones are met without sacrificing quality or craft

The ideal candidate will bring:

    • 5+ years of experience in product design, with 2+ years of experience successfully mentoring or managing a product design or design systems team
    • Proven expertise in building or evolving design systems, including components, tokens, accessibility standards, and governance models
    • A developing fluency in emerging AI-native design tools and a vision for how these technologies can accelerate team workflows and reduce manual overhead
    • Direct experience designing for platform complexity, scalability, and multi-journey consistency in a SaaS environment
    • Strategic systems thinking with the ability to connect business strategy and user needs into scalable design frameworks, balanced with strong operational skills to manage complex projects
    • Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to inclusive design, with the ability to make design decisions clear to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.A growth mindset with the curiosity and adaptability needed to navigate ambiguity and proactively evolve both your team and the design system
$156,000 - $214,500 a year
