Reporting to the Global Sales Inbound Leader, the LATAM Sales Manager will be part of our Sales Team and will be responsible for the sales strategy for Latin America, with teams in Brazil. You will work closely with Ops, Marketing and Product to enable strategies for the region's growth.
What your day could consist of:
- Hire and Coach Account Executives (typically between 2-3 years of experience).
- Actively shadow and review call recordings and provide specific and actionable feedback to AE's via weekly 1:1s.
- Monitor and maintain a high level of integrity within the sales process.
- Maintain a lively, high energy, fun, competitive, and cooperative team culture that is focused on results.
- Motivate the team to meet objectives of closing revenue, identifying and qualifying opportunities, and contributing to overall team revenue.
- Coach and develop AE's into all-star sellers and future leaders.
- Coach, mentor, and manage a team of multi-tiered Account Executives to hit and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Leverage data and business insights to increase sales approach and effective sales activity.
- Provide regular and on-time reporting of key performance metrics on pipeline and forecast management.
- Monitor and refine processes, metrics, and tools to maximize success on the sales team.
- Ongoing development of the sales team, including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps.
- Collaborate with senior sales leaders and other cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable processes, supporting the business effectively.
What is needed:
- Previous experience and a comprehensive understanding of a high activity environment.
- Knowledge of the martech landscape in Brazil highly preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in solution/value selling, with at least 2+ years managing and scaling a successful sales team with Latam coverage.
- Deep understanding of the SaaS industry highly preferred.
- Track record of over-achieving quota in past roles.
- Organized, analytical, and able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- Skilled at hiring, recruiting, and retaining top talent that embodies ActiveCampaign’s core values while adding a positive, diverse approach to the team.
- Strong point of view on deal qualification (experience with the Sandler Sales Methodology is a plus).
- Must be metrics-driven with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Should be very focused on the development and advancement of team members and be highly coachable themselves.
- An inspiring leader that people want to follow.
- Trilingual Portuguese, Spanish, and English is required.
