About the role

If you answered yes to the above questions, you might be the perfect fit for Marketing Team Lead of ScriptRunner at Adaptavist. This role is a critical part of our mission to grow market share and build innovative products. ScriptRunner is Adaptavist’s flagship product suite. 

You will hire, lead, develop and coordinate a ScriptRunner marketing team and develop strategic life cycle marketing/go-to-market plans. There will be a commercial focus and ability to lead the development and deployment of product and marketing campaigns throughout the full customer lifecycle, through demand generation, market research, content creation, retention and renewals. 

As well as leading a team of marketers, you'll work closely with product managers and stakeholders to build a marketing roadmap to delight and engage our customers. You'll be managing the balance of your individual contributions and supporting your team in delivery. As the most senior marketer in the team, you'll be responsible for the success of our existing and future products, by gaining an in-depth knowledge of the industry, customers, and competitors, and then turning that knowledge into creative full app lifecycle strategies.

Some of the things you'll do:

    • Leadership
    • Build, lead and nurture a growing team of high performing marketeers who deliver undeniable business impact and breed a high standard of strategic, creative and executional excellence through coaching and development 
      Assist with priority setting for the ScriptRunner product family 
      Deliver updates and report on success to key stakeholders
      Orchestrate complex initiatives and tasks, ensuring members of the team have a clearly defined path to success
      Orchestrate and coordinate cross-departmental product discussions
    •  People Management
    • Mentoring, coaching and developing a team of Marketers, varying from Associate to Senior 
      Work with direct reports to set objectives and to create and execute development plans
      Hiring and onboarding new team members
      Facilitate and enable collaboration and communication including conflict resolution
      Align the team with product and business priorities
    • Marketing
    • Lead the overall Go To Market strategy for the ScriptRunner product family and communicate that strategy to internal stakeholders and the team.
      Build a marketing roadmap for the product family and each individual app, based on the stage of the product life cycle and the team’s objectives. 
      Leverage knowledge/experience of SEO, digital advertising, email and content marketing to determine the right marketing mix for each product. 
      Lead the development and management of multi-channel marketing campaigns across the team 
      Conduct user research and teach others how to approach customer interviews, surveys, market analysis, etc to drive our product positioning, persona development and map the user journey
      Develop and project manage all marketing plans and initiatives across the full app lifecycle, to drive acquisition, retention and renewal KPIs.Work with both product, marketing, and content teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging in all customer facing documentation and communication.

What we're looking for:

    • Demonstrable leadership experience
    • Exceptionally good at understanding the needs and expectations of customers
    • Strong B2B product marketing or product management experience
    • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to project manage multiple projects
    • Knowledge of or the ability to learn the Atlassian Marketplace
    • Ability to interpret and communicate complex technology product messages into customer facing business and technology content
    • Good written communication skills
    • Team player with very strong interpersonal skills, who is comfortable leading complex projects in a fast-paced environment
    • An ability to think innovatively and creatively
    • Interest in helping and inspiring colleagues
    • Self-starting, strongly ambitious and tenacious: willing to go the extra mile
