About the role

A Senior Technical Consultant will work as part of a new growing team in Italy, assisting customers in making the best use of the Atlassian product suite, such as Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other related productivity technologies, to deliver value to their business or organization. Fluency in Italian is a prerequisite.

This role will be helping customers to integrate systems, automate processes, and achieve efficiencies.  This typically ranges from providing expert guidance and solution design, mainly around ITSM and PPM solutions to “hands-on” work with product setup and migrations.

As an Atlassian Technical Consultant, the role will also take part in pre-sales - offering solutions, providing estimates, and producing proposals.  The position will naturally involve maintaining and improving knowledge of the Atlassian product suite and related technologies.

What you'll be doing

    • Atlassian Solution Consultancy:
    •  Use knowledge around ITSM, PPM, and Atlassian products to gather and evaluate requirements, research, and present solutions to clients, and make suitable recommendations
    • Communicate regularly with a range of stakeholders
    • Participation in pre-sales, helping define scope and estimates for projects, as well as helping in solution design
    • Participation in internal knowledge-sharing and improvements
    • Travel to client sites for meetings where necessary

    • Atlassian Solution Implementation and Delivery
    • Installations, upgrades, and migrations for Atlassian applications and associated technologies
    • Custom Atlassian solution design and implementation, e.g., workflow, scripts, configuration
    • Scripting solutions with languages like Groovy and Python
    • Database administration and querying
    • Web integration of Atlassian and other applications using Rest APIs

What we're looking for

    • Experience in technical consulting, software development, or the Atlassian toolset
    • Strong written and spoken Italian and English language skills
    • Experience presenting solutions to customers based on provided requirements
    • Experience writing and contributing to technical reports
    • Experience implementing ITSM, ITIL, Agile, and PMP methodologies
    • +Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • +An ability to think innovatively and creatively
    • +Team player and strong collaboration skills
    • +Self-starting, strongly ambitious, and tenacious

A few nice to haves

    • Experience with web integration using Rest APIs
    • South Europe - Italian market knowledge
    • Scripting experience with a language like Groovy or Python
    • Pre-sales experience
