Addepar is looking for a technical project planning expert to help build the Project Management practice at Addepar.  The Implementation Project Manager (IPM) will be responsible for the implementation of Addepar’s Enterprise clients, ultimately holding the internal team accountable to project timelines and deliverables.  The IPM has business and solutions acumen and is an expert at translating and documenting broad goals and objectives into detailed project plans and processes to drive execution. This is a strategic and highly visible role, with the PM partnering with both external and internal teams including Sales Engineering, Relationship Management, Solutions Architecture, Data Solutions, Product, Engineering, and C-suites.

Responsibilities

    • Lead project team and manage the project lifecycle (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, closing)
    • Drive use of project management principles, methodologies, tools, and internal policies and procedures
    • Establish and maintain relationships with internal/external executive sponsors, key stakeholders, and project team members
    • Facilitate gathering of business requirements, objectives and goals
    • Translate client requirements, objectives, and goals into actionable project plan
    • Partner with internal specialists to develop and validate project plan design
    • Maintain project plan and other project documents
    • Partner closely with Technical Account Manager and specialist resources to drive execution of project plan
    • Set clear expectations with internal and external project teams, and hold internal resources accountable for deadlines and deliverables
    • Regularly report internally/externally on project status, milestones, KPIs, accomplishments, and deliverables
    • Identify and propose changes; determine impact and drive mitigation plans
    • Diagnose issues and risks; develop and manage contingency plans
    • Document lessons learned and recommend process improvements

Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, including 4 years of project management experience
    • Professional experience in enterprise-class SaaS software implementations required
    • Professional experience in Financial Services, Technology Implementations, or Consulting preferred
    • PMP and CSM preferred
    • Experience with waterfall required, agile preferred
    • Understanding of project commercials including SOWs, budgeting and resourcing
    • Prior external client-facing experience required
    • Demonstrated leadership ability (management not required)
    • Superior communication, organizational, and time-management skills
    • Independent, adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment 
    • Passion for technology and finance
    • Some travel required
