Addepar is looking for a web developer to join our Marketing team. You’ll work closely with our Marketing and other internal teams, in addition to external agency partners, to develop our corporate website and other digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

    • Upgrade, maintain, and develop our corporate website
    • Create HTML emails and landing pages
    • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
    • Create website layout/user interface by using HTML/CSS best-practices
    • Strong grasp of security principles
    • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Business Operations, and Engineering team members and stakeholders

Requirements

    • Proven working experience in web programming and a solid understanding of how web applications work including security and best development practices
    • In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript
    • Understanding of the nuances of HTML3 for emails
    • Strong understanding of content management software, specifically Wordpress
    • Proficient understanding of marketing automation software, specifically Marketo
    • Proficient understanding of Git
    • Understanding best practices using LESS or Sass
    • Understanding of how to use common task runners, like GULP
    • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization principles
    • Strong problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
    • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
