The Compliance Analyst is a security-focused role, grounded in Addepar’s ongoing Information Security program. Its focus is not only around achieving and maintaining compliance standards for Addepar’s product and corporate infrastructure; but also in ensuring a level base of security best practices across the organization.
The role requires a distinct technology focus to delve into and understand Addepar’s products and technology backbone. However, the Compliance Analyst must also be a capable diplomat, creating consensus and buy-in between diverse teams across the organization, and guiding their participation in security initiatives. The ability to balance the rigors of technical security standards against the goodwill and agility of the company will be crucial.

- Advocate for Security – Serve as a voice and hand of the Information Security team, reaching out to other departments across Addepar and securing their collaboration. Educate your fellow employees on security best-practices and make them excited to participate.
- Keep us Vigilant – Monitor and participate in security incident response.
- Build a Knowledge Base – Maintain an awareness of evolving compliance regulations. Through effective reporting and documentation, raise overall awareness of security standards and incidents at Addepar.

- Some experience working with internal legal teams, external auditors, and regulatory agencies preferred; particularly direct experience undertaking and achieving external compliance audits.

- Highest standards of integrity and confidentiality; capable of handling extremely sensitive data.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong technical foundation preferred, including familiarity with cloud infrastructure, diverse networks, and software engineering.
- Belief in mission-driven companies solving extremely difficult problems.
- Passion for disruption in financial services technology.
- Modern technologist, who views security as an enabler to innovation, not a friction point.
- Organized thinker, able to break down complex problems and approach logically and consistently.
