Overview of Position 

In this newly defined role, your mission will be to understand the market needs, and develop a deep technical expertise to define and implement the product roadmap for our inertial navigation systems family of products.

Role Responsibilities:

    • Manage the product life cycle through defining and overseeing product development, verification & release
    • Manage the INS product roadmap, including new products, product fixes, improvements and iterations
    • Conduct thorough research of market trends and competition
    • Analysing sales and portfolio mix to increase and optimise product family revenue and profitability
    • Define the user experience and interfaces to ensure customer success
    • Aggregating feedback from Customers, Sales, Support and R&D
    • Support the sales team with customer presentations, sales tools and customer meetings
    • Take part in webinars and trade shows to gather feedback and promote the INS family of products

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

    • Have studied at a higher education institution focused on engineering
    • Minimum of 5 years of Product Management or relevant technical and commercial experience
    • Broad experience in Hardware, embedded firmware and software
    • Ideally, worked in the field of Navigation systems (Inertial or GNSS) or OEM electronics
    • Sound knowledge of survey, autonomous systems and navigation systems in defence and commercial markets
    • Proven ability to deep dive into technical topics and build rapport with engineering teams
    • Strong commercial acumen
    • Proven experience in working with GNSS/INS technologies across a number of applications/industries.
    • Familiarity or experience in MEMS, FOG, GNSS, inertial navigation and networking/communications 
    • Market and competitor research. Go-to-Market, launch, marketing experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Be a passionate, hungry learner that gets excited about professional growth and being challenged by new opportunities
    • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset for accomplishing goals
    • Proven experience in working with GNSS/INS technologies across a number of applications/industries.
    • Familiarity or experience in MEMS, FOG, GNSS, inertial navigation and networking/communications

Performance goals:

    • Define the inertial navigation systems roadmap, based on robust market research
    • Manage the lifecycle of INS products, from ideation, to launch and retirement
    • Subject to level, own the INS strategy and roadmap from beginning to end
