Here's the Deal
As a Senior Structural Analysis Integration Engineer you will report to the Structures Manager and be responsible for performing stress analysis on complex composite and metallic structures.

On any given day you might:

    • Coordinate and integrate stress analysis of complex composites and metallic structures leading to weight efficient design of AS2 aircraft
    • Develop road map for structures team, in partnership with Tier 1 suppliers and partners, in the areas of analysis methods, tools, and test plans for the entire aircraft
    • Support material allowables test campaign as well as complete aircraft testing strategies
    • Support preliminary design team in assessing analysis, test and validation roadmap for all novel structural design details
    • Support IPT leads in development of certification roadmap
    • Support technical review of supplier capabilities and progress

We're looking for someone who has:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or similarly related area
    • 7+ years of experience (combination of education and experience) in analysis and testing of aerospace structures
    • Strong composite structures background
    • Knowledge of FEM analysis software (ex:NASTRAN/PATRAN, ABAQUS etc)
    • Experience during the conceptual and preliminary design phases of aircraft development is strongly preferred
    • Strong understanding of Part 25 certification is preferred
    • Highly self-motivated with a strong bias for action, and excellent problem-solving skills across multi-disciplinary skill sets
