Here's the deal:
The CAD & PLM Implementation Lead reports directly to the CIO and will be responsible for definition, design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of CAD/PLM systems in support of new aircraft development program. In addition, this role will implement the Product Life Cycle Management Software – as it relates to the integration within the Digital Twin Architecture, and all necessary equipment. In this role you will also have the opportunity to strategically plan the Aerion Integrated Digital Environment called Digital Carbon – with the baseline partner being Siemens.

On any given day you might:

    • Define, develop, and implement specified workflows within the PLM system, including TC Requirements
    • Develop/manage user best practices and standards and directory structure
    • Develop/maintain training for all users and integrations across CAD & PLM system
    • Administer, monitor, and support all CAD/PLM system applications with critical focus on system stability, performance and user experience
    • Act as primary Level 1 and 2 application support resource for all CAD and PLM-related issues; work with IT department and vendor support to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve technical issues at application and database levels
    • Work in collaboration with IT team in planning and execution of system installations, upgrades, integration, and performance tuning for PLM and CAD systems
    • Responsible for license management, application testing, user security administration, and end-user technical support
    • Develop, maintain, and deliver end-user technical training
    • Participate in PLM process design and workflow definition
    • Define MBE, PLM, MBSE, MBM, MBS business/data models
    • Oversight for all user support and supervise support personnel
    • Foster a culture that inspires high levels of performance and employee retention
    • Support the definition of the product development strategy
    • Prioritize the allocation of the programs resources to meet the milestones of the AS2 program schedule, from development through certification and production

We're looking for someone who has:

    • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, IT, or related field (four-year college or technical school) required
    • 10 plus years of experience in implementing, administering, and managing PLM systems
    • Expert-level knowledge of PLM architecture and requirements development and experience with platform implementation required
    • Advanced PLM certifications in PLM system is preferred
    • Preferred knowledge in Siemens Suite of Digital Twin applications – primarily with experience around Teamcenter
    • Knowledge of deployment architecture patterns, servers, databases, hardware analysis, root-cause analysis, and system performance tuning
    • Experience with Siemens NX & Teamcenter, knowledge of Enovia 3DExperience and Catia (for Partner integration)
    • PLM to ERP integration preferred
