ABOUT THIS ROLE

As Paid Media & Performance Marketing Lead at Aero, you will take the reins of our paid media strategy on search, social, and display – optimizing performance, exploring new channels, and owning our digital acquisition funnel. Working directly with our Head of Marketing, Copywriter, Engineers, and other cross-functional teammates, you will be responsible for managing our accounts day-to-day and guiding our paid digital initiatives to support overall business goals. 

Your immediate focus will be the in-platform execution and ownership of our acquisition funnel, where you'll run and optimize existing Google Ads and Meta campaigns and drive CRO experiments. You'll be the key person responsible for leveraging these channels to achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth targets with efficiency and scale. This means diving deep into the day-to-day execution, becoming obsessed with our guest funnel, methodically A/B testing, and making data-driven decisions to improve results. Once you’ve turned our Google and Meta accounts into well-oiled machines, you will have the opportunity to explore new paid digital channels.

We need someone who's able to overlap a majority of the day with our team based on Pacific Time and willing to go above and beyond to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own our paid acquisition strategies “bottoms-up” for media planning and forecasting target key performance indicators (KPIs) 
    • Achieve acquisition and revenue goals by optimizing Meta and Google Ads, running A/B tests and conversion rate optimization (CRO) experiments 
    • Execute the mechanics of pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, including bid management, audience testing, creative asset building, and auto-bidding strategies
    • Ensure seamless alignment of paid media campaigns with overall business objectives
    • Lead integrations for all ad platform tracking and analytics with Segment, GTM, and GA4
    • Work with big data sets, analyzing performance and leveraging data-driven insights 
    • Integrate guest experience and acquisition journey from feedback loops and personal experience
    • Assist in the development of new creative assets including seasonal brand and sales campaign initiatives
    • Drive paid digital opportunities, unlocking new channels, acquisition funnels, and/or promotions that drive sustainable and scalable growth
    • Communicate effectively to executive and non-expert stakeholders, including explaining expertise and managing expectations 
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate campaigns for diversified and high-impact growth
    • Other projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

    • 4+ years of experience leading and scaling paid digital strategies at early-stage startups (travel, hospitality, or luxury brands a plus)
    • Active in-platform management and knowledge of Google and Meta Ad platforms and tracking integrations
    • Deep understanding of PPC campaigns, including the mechanics of bid management, audience testing, creative assets, and auto-bidding on both Meta and Google Ad platforms
    • Customer-obsessed and deeply attuned to our prospective guest’s journey through Aero’s acquisition funnel
    • Experience leading through a test-and-learn mindset with a methodical approach to experimentation
    • Extremely resourceful, tenacious, solutions-oriented, and willing to challenge assumptions
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Highly analytical, leveraging data-driven insights (not just intuition or past experience) to make the best decisions
    • Proven track record of structuring, implementing, and tracking campaigns that effectively learn and scale to broader target audiences
    • Passion for learning and building efficient channels
    • Driven to go beyond the daily checklist to engineer growth and efficiency

    • Pay Range: $100,000-140,000 per year in Los Angeles, CA - exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
