About Aethos Monterosa
In the middle of the Aosta Valley, below the Monte Rosa and Cervino glaciers, lies Aethos Monterosa – a 30-room five-star active luxury resort featuring two F&B outlets, a SPA, and its own climbing and ice climbing wall. We are expanding the property with 20 additional rooms and are looking for an outstanding team to join us for the upcoming summer season.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Station Mastery: Are you ready to own your section in the kitchen? You’ll take responsibility for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your area, ensuring every plate is consistent, precise, and beautifully executed—ready to impress our guests at every service.
- Culinary Excellence: Do you take pride in every dish you create? With a passion for quality and precision, you’ll follow recipes and plating guidelines with care, while learning from the senior chefs to continuously elevate your techniques and attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Are you a strong team player in the heat of service? You’ll work closely with the Chef de Partie and the rest of the brigade, ensuring smooth communication and mutual support—especially during busy periods. The kitchen is one team, and you’re a key part of it.
- Preparation & Organisation: Can you stay calm and organized under pressure? From mise en place to service prep, you’ll make sure your section is always ready, ingredients are fresh, and equipment is clean—allowing you to perform at your best when the rush begins.
- Learning & Development: Are you hungry to grow and take on more responsibility? As a Demi Chef de Partie, you’re on the path toward bigger roles. You’ll receive guidance from your senior chefs and have the opportunity to contribute ideas, learn new techniques, and sharpen your leadership skills.
Core Competencies
- Fluent in English and Italian – both spoken and written
- Previous experience in a refined or hotel kitchen environment
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience in a similar role or as Commis Chef
- A strong passion for culinary arts and desire to grow
- Ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining independence
- Solid knowledge of basic cooking techniques, kitchen tools, and mise en place
- High attention to cleanliness, order, and food safety regulations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical stamina and a positive, can-do attitude
