About Aethos Monterosa
In the middle of the Aosta Valley below the Monte Rosa and Cervino glaciers lies Aethos Monterosa. A 30-room five-star luxury resort with two F&B outlets, a SPA, and its own climbing and ice climbing wall. We are currently on a pre-winter season break, and when we reopen, the hotel has to be filled with life and a new team! The essence of great hospitality will however always be an outstanding team. That's why we are looking for you!
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist housekeepers with the transport of linens, cleaning supplies, and other materials across the property.
- Collect and distribute clean and dirty laundry, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, such as delivering extra amenities or retrieving luggage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage rooms and equipment.
- Handle garbage disposal and recycling tasks efficiently while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Perform light cleaning tasks, including vacuuming corridors and common areas, as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department promptly.
- Support the housekeeping team during peak times to ensure seamless operations.
Core Competencies
- Fluent in English & Italian is a must
- 2+ years of hospitality experience
- Collaborative and communicates well and accomplish tasks at efficiently
- Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
