About Aethos Monterosa

In the middle of the Aosta Valley, below the Monte Rosa and Cervino glaciers, lies Aethos Monterosa – a 30-room five-star active luxury resort featuring two F&B outlets, a SPA, and its own climbing and ice climbing wall. We are expanding the property with 20 additional rooms and are looking for an outstanding team to join us for the upcoming summer season.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

    • Breakfast Service Leadership: Are you ready to lead the breakfast service with energy and precision?You’ll oversee the smooth running of breakfast operations, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience that reflects the high standards of the hotel.
    • Team Coordination: Do you enjoy managing and motivating a team? You’ll supervise breakfast staff, organize shifts, and ensure every team member is prepared and engaged to deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
    • Guest Experience Focus: Are you passionate about creating memorable first impressions? From welcoming guests warmly to responding promptly to requests, you’ll make sure every breakfast service is seamless, enjoyable, and personalized.
    • Quality & Presentation: Can you maintain impeccable standards? You’ll monitor food presentation, buffet replenishment, and service flow to ensure consistency, freshness, and attractiveness throughout breakfast hours.
    • Operational Management: Are you organized and detail-oriented? You’ll handle inventory checks, communicate effectively with the kitchen and suppliers, and resolve any operational challenges quickly to avoid disruptions.

Core Competencies

    • Fluent in English and Italian – both spoken and written
    • Proven experience in supervisory roles within hotel or fine dining breakfast operations
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Ability to work under pressure during busy service times
    • Keen attention to detail and high standards for quality and presentation
    • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
    • Positive attitude, reliability, and problem-solving skills
    • Flexibility to work early morning shifts and weekends
