SUMMARY
Agile Defense seeks qualified candidates for support of with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Nimitz Operational Intelligence Command (OIC). Agile Defense provides IT support services to ONI N64 (Enterprise Modernization and Integration) to include Tier 1 through 3 on-call support, planning and scheduling, customer/user support, systems engineering and technical assessments, software engineering, system administration and operation, database administration and development, system/software testing and break-fix support. Further support includes temporarily support current on premise GOTS application; and in addition, moving forward with migrating the GOTS application capabilities to a cloud enterprise environment.
DUTIES
Design, implement and support software-defined services for computing, storage, networking, security, and cloud management to run enterprise applications traditional or containerized in a hybrid cloud environment.
Collaborate with the appropriate departments and technology offices to assess and recommend technologies that support organizational needs.
Perform administrative and management tasks to maintain system operation, install/deploy new systems, maintains system security and performance, and maintain data integrity.
Interface with applications specialist, system users, and vendor contacts.
Assist in special project planning; Acts as Technical Lead on projects; coordinate and collaborate with a team that consists of Developers, DBA, QA Testers, System Administrators, Business Analyst, and various other members of the group.

Propose and drives changes to improve environment stability, performance and security.
Monitor performance and capacity of the cloud environment and proactively address issues.
Produce, maintain, and update logical and physical network diagrams.
Gather system metrics for Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and customer inquiries.
Execute the planning, design, and implementation of a Virtual Desktop Environment (VDE) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
Test and provide critical input to Disaster Recovery Plan.
Create and maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support scheduled system application and ad-hoc enterprise maintenance.
Qualifications
Education and Certifications
DoD IAT Level II Certification.
Background Needed and Years of Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience architecting technology solutions in AWS or an AWS Solutions Architect Associate with at least 4 years of experience architecting technology solutions in AWS.
MA/MS, or BA/BS w/ 12+years' IT experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must Have Technical Skills
Familiarity with migrating “on-premise” to an AWS cloud environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with team on assigned tasks, expectations, and schedule.
Sharp attention to detail.
Organized; time management skills to forecast and stay ahead of deliverables/reporting requirements.

Working Conditions
Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Core Business hours 9:00 - 3:00 with flexibility.
Strength Demands
Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/?carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
