Salary Range: $49,000 - $91,000 Based on qualifications
SUMMARY
Joint Cyber Warfare Architecture (JCWA) is a System-of-Systems (SoS). It provides an integrated suite of cyber capabilities and tools to conduct offensive and defense cyber operations. Our task order objectives are to perform the test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting to provide sufficient operational effectiveness, suitability, interoperability, and cybersecurity findings, conclusions, and recommendations to support OESCS determinations and JIC for JCWA. Our support also focuses on the integration across all testing activities to ensure a robust test strategy that informs key decision makers on the system’s progress towards major milestones and overall Operational Effectiveness, Suitability, Cyber Survivability, and Interoperability.
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Software Operational and Interoperability Tester to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless integration of software products. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and contributing to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Participate in test planning and design activities.
· Review and analyze schematics, and technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications. Must be able to review, analyze, and interpret stakeholders needs.
· Execute test plans and test cases to evaluate software functionality, performance, and interoperability.
· Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.
· Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve software quality.
· Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports.
· Adhere to established testing standards and procedures.
· Maintain a strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing best practices.
· Learn and adapt to new technologies and testing tools.
· Proactively seek out opportunities to improve testing processes and efficiency.
· Work under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
· Requires 4 years of specialized and/or military experience.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
· Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
· Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
· Ability to analyze test results and identify root causes of defects.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Highly motivated and proactive with a strong desire to learn and contribute.
· Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
· Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment.
Strength Demands
· Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
