SUMMARY

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides Information Technology (IT) support to PEO MS which is a Continental United States (CONUS) organization. The OCIO provides centralized life cycle management, direction, guidance, and support for the acquisition, sustainment, maintainability, supportability, and implementation of the PEO, Information Mission Office (IMO). PEO MS is an approved Data Center providing hosting to multiple organizations, Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) throughout the US Army Acquisition community.

Agile Defense is seeking a Power Platform Developer in support of our PEO Missiles & Space contract in Huntsville, AL. This is an intermediate-level role responsible for developing custom Power Apps and solutions in SharePoint Online and Power Automate for a growing, modernizing Army customer, as well as maintaining current environments. Moderate experience is preferred, but opportunities exist to expand on current skills, as well as expand into other development roles.  “Teamwork is the foundation of success. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Software development including web site design
·         Custom Power App development, including workflows and business process automation using Power Automate and SharePoint Online
o   Examples include document approval workflows, training tracker systems, and software asset management tools
·         Managing SharePoint Users and 365 Groups
·         Manage SharePoint Online environment including site permissions, new site development, and troubleshooting user issues
·         Application maintenance and lifecycle management including responding to customer issues
·         Provide application development support within the Development Team
·         Troubleshoot application deployment
·         Attending and contributing to team/customer development meetings
·         Working on minor bug fixes for new and production applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and/or SharePoint Online
·         Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems within Power Platform
·         Responding to requests from the development team and customer
·         Gathering information from consumers about program functionality and requirements
·         Conducting development tests
·         Research implementation of new Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint Framework or new Power Platform features
·         Participate in Army-wide CoE groups
·         Learn about and research other Power Platform tools including Power BI 

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications
·       DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) within 6 months
·       Microsoft Workplace Computing Certification
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
·         3 years application development experience or 3 years general technical experience plus formal software development training

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
·         Microsoft SharePoint Online development and administration

·         Software development experience including web site design
·         Experience in JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, XML, JSON, Power Fx
·         Experience developing custom solutions for SharePoint web parts with strong working knowledge of the SharePoint Object Model
·         Managing SharePoint Users and Groups
·         Strong attention to detail 
Preferred Skills
·         The ability to work 100% onsite in a diverse and dynamic team environment.
·         Power BI experience
·         UI/UX design
·         Experience working with customers to clarify vague requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
·       100% ONSITE with situational telework available upon approval. Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages.
·       General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Strength Demands
·       Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles.  Some occasional walking or standing may be required.   Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
