SUMMARY
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides Information Technology (IT) support to PEO MS which is a Continental United States (CONUS) organization. The OCIO provides centralized life cycle management, direction, guidance, and support for the acquisition, sustainment, maintainability, supportability, and implementation of the PEO, Information Mission Area (IMA). PEO MS is an approved Data Center providing hosting to multiple organizations, Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) throughout the US Army Acquisition community.
Candidate should have a good grasp of Windows OS, the .NET Framework, C# or comparable programming language, and a working knowledge of SQL. Preferred candidate is adaptable, able to tackle a wide variety of problems, and capable of learning new codebases quickly. The candidate should be familiar with secure software development practices. The candidate will be responsible for supporting TeamTrack (Solutions Business Manager (SBM)) workflows, working with custom web applications, and learning new technologies for business software development.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Continued maintenance of custom TeamTrack (Solutions Business Manager (SBM)) workflow applications used for purchasing, approvals, and in/out-processing of personnel
· Responsible for completing assigned projects in a timely manner related to TeamTrack or custom applications
· Planning, producing, and modifying workflows as required
· Password and permissions maintenance
· Respond to customer requests via tickets
· Assist senior developer in maintenance, planning, and project completion
· Software applications include government off-the-shelf (GOTS), modified off-the-shelf (MOTS), and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) that are used on both unclassified and classified PEO MS systems
· Development may include research, new development, modification, reuse, reengineering, maintenance, or any other activities that result in software products to meet the needs of specific client/business requirements of the PEO and its PMs
· Develop and maintain source code in compliance with secure coding standards, application STIGS, and all applicable government regulations, guidance, and directions
· Develop and maintain automated workflows using low-code no-code Army tools such as Microsoft Power Platform
· Complete STIG checklists for applications and web servers
· Perform static code analysis using Fortify SCA
· Provide application development support within the Development Team
· Troubleshoot application issues and work on bug fixes
· Continuous improvement of processes and software architecture
· Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills
· Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems
· Gathering information from customers about program functionality
· Conducting development tests
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications
· DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) within 6 months
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
· Bachelor's in computer science or related field
· 2+ years’ experience in web development or related field

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
· 100% ONSITE. Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Strength Demands
· Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
