Salary Range: $91,000 - $137,000

SUMMARY
A full range of information technology (IT) support services is necessary to satisfy enterprise missions, goals and objectives in the areas of IT Services, Enterprise Design/Integration/Consolidation, IT Education/Training, IT Program/Project Management, Systems Operations and Maintenance, Network Support, and embedded Information Systems Security, Cyber Security and Information Assurance to the Program Executive Office Aviation (PEO AVN) Information Technology Support Services
 
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Perform application development and maintenance in a team environment utilizing ServiceNow.
·       Manage incident, change, HRSD, and Project modules within the ServiceNow environment.
·       Assist with ServiceNow version upgrades.
·       Participate in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, software development, reviews, and testing.
·       Perform updates and version upgrades to the current ServiceNow environment. Administer roles and permissions to specific content/modules within the ServiceNow environment.
·       Perform ServiceNow administrative functions as required.
·       Provide timely Tier II/III application support for both new and existing applications and workflows within ServiceNow.
·       Design, develop, document, test and debug ServiceNow platform.
·       Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls.
·       Prepare operating instructions.
·       Ensure software standards are met.
·       Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications
·       Security+ CE

Education, Background, and Years of Experience
·       Bachelor’s and six (7) years or more experience.
·       Master’s and three (5) years or more experience.
·       May accept additional experience in lieu of degree.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills
·       Proficient in ensuring that applications are created using software development best practices and security best practices in a DOD environment.
·       Prior strong experience with ServiceNow UI development required. Knowledge of client-side code such as JavaScript.
·       Ability to interpret vocally delivered or written conceptual requirements and convert those into functional design requirements.
·       Analytical skills that can be demonstrated by describing an abstract process end to end in generic terms.
·       Knowledge of workflow configuration tools: SharePoint, SAP, Microsoft CRM, etc.
·       Ability to communicate with end-users in order to gather requirements or troubleshoot problems.
·       ServiceNow certifications are a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environmental Conditions
·       The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands
·       Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles.  Some occasional walking or standing may be required.   Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
