Job Title: Cloud Project Manager
Location: Remote (must be 4 hours driving distance from NCR)

SUMMARY
Customs Border Patrol (CBP) has a global presence with connectivity to approximately 1300 field sites as well as Other Government Agencies (OGAs) and trade partners. CBP conducts operations in 22 countries, 328 ports of entry, 129 border patrol stations within 22 sectors, and 75 AMO locations. To support its mission, CBP needs a robust, resilient, and high performing enterprise network and supporting services throughout its global footprint. The Network Services Division within the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Directorate (EIOD) provides network services and oversight of the CBP enterprise network infrastructure and comprises the Network Architecture and Engineering Division (NAED) and Network Operations Division (NOD).
The Cloud Project Manager (PM) shall work closely with the Program Manager (PM) and CBP personnel to ensure a high-quality customer experience. The Cloud PM is the single point of contact (POC) for cloud services under the ENAESS task order that connect to numerous Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft M365 and Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Box, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for managing all aspects of the cloud and colocation network services in accordance with Cloud Network Engineering and Implementation, Migration and Support, Cloud Resource Usage Monitoring and Management, Cloud Performance Monitoring, Colocation Implementation and Management, and Colocation Operations and Maintenance.
· Responsible for managing a team of highly skilled architects and engineers in support of cloud adoption by CBP.
· Provide expert guidance in one or more Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) offerings and be comfortable discussing solutions with clients.
· Manage the process of migrating and transition to a cloud environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications

Education, Background, and Years of Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Networking, and Telecommunications), or three (3) years of experience in a technical field with a bachelor’s degree in another field, or five (5) years of experience without a bachelor’s degree
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing cloud service providers for complex IT systems, preferably in telecommunications and networking.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
· Experience managing cloud networks for major Federal government agencies
· Experience overseeing, organizing, directing, and managing project teams for multiple, complex cloud projects for large Federal government customers, demonstrated in the types of experience as stated in the resume.
· Experience in Agile Scrum issue and project tracking, preferably in the Atlassian suite.
· Foundational and fundamental certification in native CSPs, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure
· Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public and Private Cloud
· Experience with Azure Cloud
· Experience with Google Cloud
· Experience migrating from legacy on-prem networking to the Cloud Networking
· Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape
· Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security, etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.
· A data-driven critical thinking mind, analytical expertise, and a solution-driven, service-oriented personality.
· A knack for working in a similar fast-paced, high-SLA, deadline driven environment.
Preferred Skills
· PMP and ITIL v4 Foundation certifications are preferred.
