Job Summary:
Asian Health Services is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare services to underserved populations. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urologist to join our multidisciplinary team, helping us improve the health and well-being of the community through comprehensive urological care.

Position Overview:
The Urologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of urological conditions in patients of all ages. This is an outpatient role that involves collaboration with other healthcare providers, and patient education. The ideal candidate will be committed to working in a diverse, patient-centered environment and promoting health equity in the underserved community.

Hours: Per-diem hours are arranged with the site director.

Essential Job Functions

    • Provide high-quality urological care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with conditions such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate disorders, incontinence, sexual dysfunction, bladder and kidney cancer, and more.
    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, lab tests, imaging, and patient history reviews.
    • Perform urological procedures, including but not limited to cystoscopies, genital-urinary ultrasounds, and catheter insertions.
    • Collaborate with primary care providers, nursing staff, and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
    • Participate in patient education, offering guidance on prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to manage urological health.
    • Provide telemedicine consultations as needed.
    • Document patient care activities in compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
    • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the policies and procedures of Asian Health Services.

Minimum Qualifications

    • Must have a valid California Physician/Surgeon license
    • Must have current Board Certification or be Board Eligible in specialty
    • Interest and commitment to serve the Asian community

Preferred Qualifications

    • Proficient in an Asian language (Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog) a plus.
    • Experience in working in the Asian community preferred

$139.21 - $145.63 an hour
On-call employees do not qualify for company benefits.
