What's the role?

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented leader to spearhead development and implementation of our Operations Excellence initiatives.

In this critical role, you will leverage your extensive experience in both operational excellence and control tower methodologies to cultivate a culture of data driven decision making, gain real-time visibility into operation, streamline & optimise processes, enhance productivity, and ensure successful execution of overall organisational goals. This dynamic and challenging opportunity requires a visionary leader with strategic thinking who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is an effective communicator, and a passionate advocate for operational excellence.

What will you do?

Strategy and Vision:
· Ensure entire team smoothly functions as one unit towards the common goal of the organisation, as well as balances diverse operational/deliveries priorities at execution level.
· Bring in single view of overall team functioning(control tower), deliveries, and resources utilisations.
· Foster a culture of data-driven decision making, process optimization , automation and continuous improvement within the organization.
· Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of improvement initiatives on operational goals.
· Select, implement, and manage the technologies and tools needed for the control tower, including data integration platforms, visualization tools, and analytics dashboards.

Data Analysis and Insights:
· Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from diverse operational sources and productivity metrices.
· Identify actionable insights from data to drive process improvements, resource optimization, and risk mitigation.
· Track and publish various performance, productivity and quality report.
· Use data insights to refine priorities and strategies as needed, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and yet remains dynamic.

Process Improvement and Automation:
· Identify and implement initiatives/solutions to streamline operations, reduce redundancies, and enhance team productivity.
· Leverage operations/control tower data and insights to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
· Track and measure the impact of process improvement initiatives on performance metrics.
· Create and ensure adherence to processes, guidelines, SOPs and best practices.

Program Management and Optimal Resource utilisations:
· Establish and manage a robust program management methodology and framework.
· Implement flexible planning: Create adaptable plans that can adjust to changing circumstances and emerging priorities. Ensure optimal utilisations of resources.
· Oversee the development and execution of project plans, schedules, and align resources.
· Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and issues.
· Participate in cross-functional initiatives and task forces related to operational improvement and program delivery.
· Stay informed about company-wide goals and objectives, and align team's efforts accordingly.

Communication and Collaboration:
· Transparent communication: Communicate the prioritized operational focus and its connection to organizational goals clearly and consistently to all stakeholders. This fosters buy-in and understanding.
· Encourage cross-functional collaboration: Foster an environment where teams from different departments work together to achieve shared goals. This breaks down silos and promotes creative problem-solving.
· Empowerment and ownership: Empower teams to identify and implement improvement initiatives relevant to their priorities, while ensuring alignment with the overall plan.

What are we looking for?

    • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in operations excellence, program management, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of leading and implementing successful operational improvement initiatives and data-driven decision-making strategies.
    • Strong understanding of operations control tower concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
    • Experience with data analysis, visualization tools, and business intelligence technologies.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and translate data insights into actionable plans.
    • Passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence.
