What will you do?
- Design cloud solutions that ensure secure, sustainable, flexible and cost-appropriate solutions.
- Consult with project teams to develop a solution design which is compliant with the architecture and standards of the company and follows industry best practices.
- Ensure successful execution of IT strategies, architecture guidelines, and standards and guide project teams through the technology selection and architecture/security governance processes
- Manage and maintain the Cloud DevOps pipeline, and work with dev teams on a combined pipeline. Look for opportunities to optimize and enable consistent automated deployments.
- Define new patterns and standards as required.
- Lead technology evaluations and implementations to fill gaps in the Technology Architecture.
- Monitor standards/policy compliance by developing and executing governance processes and tools.
- Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to others, and promote open culture and DevOps.
- Model a culture that improves the organization's comfort with the speed of change, challenging assumptions, and relentless pursuit of improvement - all with a high sense of personal accountability
What are we looking for?
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps & Cloud Technologies.
- Expertise in any one of AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Experience on handling high scale production workloads.
- Strong working knowledge on Kubernetes.
- Expertise with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform/Pulumi/Cloudformation, Helm, etc.
- Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
- Deep working knowledge of Linux servers and networking.
- Hands-on knowledge of any one of - Python, Shell, Go or Java.
- Experience with monitoring solutions like DataDog, NewRelic, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana.
- Familiarity with modern cloud development practices (microservices architectures, REST interfaces, etc. )
- Passion to work on an exciting, fast-paced environment
