What will you do?
- Design, develop and deploy scalable distributed geospatial data platform.
- Implement and maintain geospatial data systems, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics.
- Working with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
- Deploy code to production and engage in code reviews, establish best practices.
- Lead large initiatives across teams (refactor service to improve code quality, runtime efficiency, resource optimization, keep stack updated, propose new technologies etc)
- Lead architectural decisions creating long term impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Become in-house experts and provide consultation to product engineers to help them build scalable and reliable systems.
- Evolve AiDash architecture as we continue to scale.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in backend and data engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one programming language: Scala, Java, or Python.
- Solid understanding of architecture and system design, particularly in the context of Big Data systems.
- Proven track record of working in highly matrixed environments and experience in product companies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure or GCP
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
