What will you do?
- Lead and manage a team of data scientists, analysts.
- Develop and execute data science strategies that align with organisational goals.
- Drive innovation and apply state-of-the-art techniques in machine learning, predictive modelling, and big data analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex business problems.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable data models and algorithms.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data used in analytics.
- Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the data science team.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new methodologies in data science.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelors or master’s in Computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 12+ years of experience as a data science management or technical roles.
- At least 6 years of experience in leading high performing data science teams and owning complete lifecycle of data science development from concept to scale.
- Strong experience of AI/ML, Deep learning & computer vision models on large image datasets is a must skill.
- Experience in deployment concepts, algorithms, frameworks and deploying models at scale.
- Experience in data analytics methodologies and tools i.e. Python, SQL and data visualisations.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP and big data technologies i.e., Hadoop, Spark is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
What other experience will make you a great candidate?
- Experience in storing & processing large geospatial data on scale.
- Experience in delivering AI/ML, statistical solutions on geospatial data i.e., Satellite , Lidar etc.
