Our client is an AI-Assisted Organic Search firm dedicated to enhancing their clients' online presence through innovative strategies in AI search. They combine cutting-edge technology with expert insights to deliver exceptional results. They are a lean, remote-first organization with a global team, and we're looking for a highly capable and autonomous SEO Account Manager to join the team.
We are seeking an SEO Account Manager who can take full ownership of client relationships and strategies, operating with a high degree of independence. You will be instrumental in maintaining and growing our existing client accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, and expanding our partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, decisive, and eager to drive results in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct client calls to discuss performance, strategies, and upcoming initiatives, while maintaining consistent day to day client communications.
- Lead monthly meetings and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with clients, presenting data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and expansion within your client portfolio.
- Handle difficult conversations with confidence and professionalism, always focusing on client success.
- Collaborate closely with SEO Specialists to develop and execute effective SEO strategies tailored to each client's goals.
- Leverage your strong understanding of SEO principles (content, technical, off-page) to guide your team and ensure impactful deliverables.
- Analyze performance data and identify trends to inform strategy adjustments and client recommendations.
- Act as an internal expert, providing guidance and support to your team.
- Manage a pod of strategist and editor, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams including Growth Engineers, Specialists and Editors to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience, with previous experience as an SEO Strategist, ideally within an agency setting.
- A strong understanding of SEO principles and proficiency with relevant SEO tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
- Demonstrated progression and growth in your past roles.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Growth-oriented, resourceful, driven to find solutions, eager to learn, and continuously seeking to improve performance for clients and the agency.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, anticipating needs and proactively addressing challenges.
- Strong communication and decision making skills, inquisitive, and can convey complex information clearly.
