Key Responsibilities (What you will do)
- Design solutionsfor a broad variety of enterprise modules, administrative workflows, and consumer experiences
- Optimize existing interfaces and design entirely new products from scratch
- Drive team scalability andefficiencythroughstrong digital asset management practices, expansionand administration ofcomponent libraries,and principles of atomic design
- Facilitate and participate in a full spectrum ofconceptual design sessions, product development cycles, and high-velocity prototyping for prospect/customer pitchesof innovative roadmap products
- Break down problems intotheir key flows and their many logical pieces and then build them back upinto exceptional UX/UI solutions
- Createsketches, wireframes,screenflows, prototypes, and presentations
- Advise on and implement new process to help improve product delivery velocity and quality
- Use your experience in UX research, interaction design & UI design to think outside the box
- Closely collaborate with engineers and PMs to ensure that design intent is achieved
- Advocate for the user throughout the design and development lifecycle
Qualifications (About you)
- 3+ years of experience in Software Product Design
- Experience designing for both Enterprise/B2B and consumer-facingproducts
- Proficiency in Figma and experience building out component libraries with the tool
- Strong with process, both in defining and applying it
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Desire to continually learn and share knowledge
- Team player and strong cross-functional collaborator who is comfortable working in an Agile environment for a digital product-based company
- Motivated, self-starting individual who takes ownership and always knows how to hit the ground running
Nice to haves:
- Experience working in a start-up or on a complex enterprise application
- Experience designing for accessibility
- Familiarity with the airline industry and ecosystem
- Active member of the design community in Toronto
