As Airalo’s first Strategic Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share across multiple regions and product lines. You will collaborate with various departments such as partnerships, growth, finance, and product development to ensure alignment with business objectives while considering market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer insights to formulate pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
    • Develop pricing models and methodologies that balance pricing objectives with market demand and competitive pressures across our B2C, B2B & B2B2C product lines.
    • Establish pricing guidelines and policies to ensure consistency and transparency across all markets and customer segments.
    • Conduct regular pricing analysis and performance reviews to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to adjust pricing structures, discounting strategies, and promotional offers to enhance profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
    • Implement pricing tools and systems to streamline pricing processes and improve efficiency.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and market dynamics, ensuring pricing strategies are aligned with sales objectives.
    • Work closely with marketing teams to develop pricing strategies that support product positioning and marketing campaigns.
    • Partner with finance teams to assess pricing implications on revenue forecasts, margins, and profitability targets.
    • Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market trends to anticipate changes and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
    • Conduct regular competitive analysis to benchmark pricing levels and identify areas for differentiation.
    • Leverage competitive insights to develop proactive pricing strategies that capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate threats.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and pricing policies in all regions and markets.
    • Establish pricing governance frameworks to monitor and control pricing practices across the organization.
    • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on pricing policies, processes, and best practices.

Must Haves:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in pricing management or related roles, preferably in a global or multinational organization.
    • A clear ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines and budgets.
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
    • Excellent understanding of pricing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and influence cross-functional teams.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
    • Experience with pricing software and analytics tools is a plus.
    • Knowledge of global markets and regulatory environments is desirable.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Nice to haves:

    • Experience working with SaaS or technology companies
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or similar and experience with CRMs (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or HubSpot) and ERP (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) systems
    • Experience working with Telco, MNOs, MNVOs, eSIM & GSMA
