About the Role

You will be responsible for defining and executing the roadmap for a backend-oriented integration product that takes care of the eSIMs lifecycle over the Telecom Networks by the use of APIs. You will drive your product in the right direction by addressing the needs originating from multiple sources, such as: business requirements for new telco offerings, technical requirements defined by CTO, functional roadmaps of other teams, internal improvement needs. You will support the Engineering Director of the Network Division in making sure the eSim services are well integrated through APIs into external Networks of Telecom Providers.

The overall performance of the product and its delivery of business value for the company will lie with you on a day-to-day basis. You are curious, humble and take pride in seeing others succeed as a result of your support and leadership. You are an excellent collaborator, with cross-discipline experience working to successfully deploy products and work streams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Define and develop the roadmap for the backend-oriented integration product
    • Analyze, refine and document product backlog items to make them ready for development
    • Support Engineering Director for the Network Division in making sure the eSIM services are well integrated through APIs into external Telecom Networks.
    • Effectively manage diverse stakeholders to translate their requests into clear problem statements and needs. The important stakeholders include: external Telecom Network Providers, CTO, Customer Service, Engineering Management team, Product Managers of dependant products, engineering teams
    • Define and optimise metrics and KPIs to measure impact, communicate status, and inform the decision-making process
    • Own, prioritise and manage a backlog with clear Product Requirements Documents while ensuring successful and high-quality product delivery
    • Define, implement and maintain product documentation, presentations and agile processes to efficiently work in a remote setup while educating our Partnerships and Sales teams

Must-haves:

    • 4+ years of building world-class products as a (technical) product manager
    • Experience in creating and iterating product roadmaps
    • Experience in facilitating technical discussions about products and features and providing feedback for technical designs
    • Experience in defining, building, and shipping technical products
    • Experience in collaborating with and designers, engineers, Q/A in an agile environment
    • Product experience in a high-growth start-up or scale-up
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Experience in agile/scrum methodology
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a similar discipline

Good to have:

    • Knowledge of eSIM, GSM, MNO / MVNO / MVNE operating models
    • Experience with Jira, Confluence or Notion, Figma, QuickSight, Tableau, Dovetail, Google
    • Analytics, Hotjar
    • Coding experience or technical knowledge of coding languages
    • Prior work experience in telecommunications
