About the Job:

We’re looking for a professional with a degree and/or experience in Accounting who will serve as the point-of-contact of Airbase customers for questions and issues raised online or via phone. Experience in customer interaction, troubleshooting, and resolution is required.

Responsibilities

    • Provide assistance to Customer Success team during the accounting and GL-specific areas of the onboarding process
    • Provide online and phone support to Airbase customers
    • Gather detailed information on the question/issue raised to determine how to best provide assistance to the customer
    • Identify and understand the background of the question/issue raised by the customer
    • Troubleshoot the issue raised to determine if this is a bug, defect, enhancement, etc.
    • Perform reconciliation as needed to troubleshoot the issue
    • Work with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure quick turnaround and provide quality service to Airbase customers

Skills/Experience Required

    • Confident and can effectively communicate both in oral and written English
    • Holds a degree in Accounting
    • Has prior work experience in an accounting and finance capacity
    • At least two (2) years experience in a customer-facing role
    • Has knowledge and experience in Procure to Pay and General Ledger processes
    • Has knowledge and experience in ERP and accounting software packages
    • Excellent customer orientation skills
    • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
    • Self-sufficient and self-driven

Nice to Haves

    • Experience in NetSuite, Quickbooks Online, Xero, and Intacct is an advantage
    • Experience in using Zendesk is a plus
We offer competitive cash compensation. Our first preference is for someone based in Manila, Philippines. But, we're a very remote friendly company (most of the team works remotely from 6 countries) and are open to strong candidates from anywhere in the Philippines.
