About AirDNA

We built AirDNA to solve a problem: how do you make smart short-term rental decisions when there’s too much guesswork and not enough good data?
What started in a garage in California in 2015 is now a global team helping thousands of people — from aspiring hosts to major real estate firms — make confident choices about where to invest, what to charge, and how to grow.

Our mission is simple: give people the tools they need to build freedom through short-term rentals. Whether that means buying their first Airbnb or scaling a portfolio, we’re here to help unlock financial independence and growth.

We track 10M+ listings in 120,000 markets, and our platform is trusted by users in over 100 countries. It’s big data, made useful.

In 2024, AirDNA acquired Uplisting, a powerful property management software that helps hosts and operators manage listings across Airbnb, Vrbo, and other platforms. With features like channel management, automated messaging, dynamic pricing, task coordination, and financial reporting, Uplisting expands our mission to support every stage of the short-term rental journey — from investment to operations.

The AirDNA team

We’re a curious, driven, and kind group of humans who genuinely love what we do. Our values - Happy, Hungry, Honest - guide how we show up for our customers and for each other. Want to see what that looks like in action? You’ll get a feel once you meet us.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you don’t check every box. Passion, potential, and perspective matter here.

The Role:
At AirDNA, we empower vacation rental managers (VRMs) to make smarter, data-backed decisions. As an Account Executive, you’ll be a specialist in the VRM space, driving high-quality sales cycles from qualification and discovery to demo and negotiation - to generate renewable Annual Reoccurring Revenue (ARR) and long-term client value. Your focus: create value for our customers and maximize long-term impact for the business.

Here's what you'll get to do:

    • Own and drive the full sales cycle: from inbound/outbound lead qualification to close
    • Be responsible for building and maintaining a healthy, high-converting pipeline
    • Own the entire commercial engagement from proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiation to closing
    • Deliver accurate forecasts, maintain CRM hygiene, and qualify/disqualify with confidence
    • Be a strategic industry expert on Short Term Rentals (STRs), VRMs, and the macro trends shaping the space
    • Ensure smooth handoff to Account Management or Customer Support (CS) for long-term client success
    • Operate with proactiveness, energy, and a resilient mindset to hit (and exceed) targets

Here's what you'll need to be successful:

    • Tourism/Travel tech experience preferred
    • Proficiency in English (Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese a plus)
    • Strong communication skills—you sell with clarity and purpose
    • Clear, confident negotiation skills (not afraid to close high-value deals)
    • Resilient, proactive, and hungry to grow personally and professionally
    • A sharp, accountable mindset: you own your numbers and outcomes
    • Strong CRM hygiene (HubSpot experience a plus) and pipeline discipline
    • Stakeholder management skills - development of champions and ability to leverage that into conversations
    • Understanding of data and how it helps businesses make better decisions
    • Experience creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process

Here's what you can expect from us:
