AirGarage is repurposing the 30% of real estate in the average American city currently dedicated to parking.

We are building a future where real estate is digitized and can be transitioned from one use to another seamlessly on-demand, moving every piece of urban real estate toward its highest and best use.

We are starting with the $131 billion US parking real estate market because it is one of the most offline and mismanaged commercial real estate asset types.

As a full-stack parking operator, we automate the operation of parking lots and parking garages. We handle everything from advertising to collecting payments from drivers and enforcing against illegal parking. We already operate 150+ parking lots and parking garages across 30 US states and we are growing quickly.

We are backed by top tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Floodgate, Founders Fund, and angel investors who have founded or worked at companies like Uber, Opendoor, Flexport, and more.

As Head of Talent, you will play a central role in the success of AirGarage both in the short and long term.

You will partner closely with our founders and company leaders to attract world-class talent across technical and non-technical roles.

You'll lay the foundation for how we build our recruiting process as well as help us create a culture that leads to happy (and long-term!) team members as we scale from dozens to hundreds of employees across the country over the next couple of years.

— Help us design a consistent and fair hiring process from the ground up.
— Create an attractive hiring brand and a world-class candidate experience.
— Own our recruiting process from end to end in the early days and help us build out a people team as we scale and our hiring needs increase.

— You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and work as an IC recruiter, but also excited about helping to build and lead a talent function from the ground up.
— You're know how to find high quality candidates and are comfortable handling the entire recruiting cycle, from sourcing to helping close candidates.
— You find creative ways to to connect with talent and get a thrill from the daily hunt of sourcing hidden talent.
— You're a great storyteller and communicator. You are able to get candidates excited about what we are building at AirGarage.
— You have built a recruiting function before, or been an early team member in a new recruiting function (ideally at a startup).
— You pay attention to detail. You take pride in a clean recruiting pipeline. You obsess over staying on top of all candidates in process.
— You move fast. You constantly find areas of improvement. You use tools & technology to leverage your time and you know which tools are best for a Series A+ company's needs.
— You have a passion for cultivating an exceptional candidate experience.
— You have an ability to discern a candidate's true talent and ability beyond just resume and title matching.
