About AI Data Engineering team:

We're seeking a talented Data Engineer to join us and help us become self-reliant in our AI endeavors. You will spearhead the design, implementation, and upkeep of our data ecosystem. From crafting resilient data pipelines to fine-tuning workflows, your expertise will ensure seamless data access and rock-solid reliability for our diverse stakeholders.

What you'll be working on:

    • Develop and oversee data models adhering to best practices to ensure data quality and accessibility
    • Constructing, maintaining, and supporting data pipelines
    • Write maintainable, performant code and create and maintain systems documentation.
    • Desire to continually keep up with advancements in data engineering practices.
    • Solve technical problems of the highest scope and complexity
    • Implement the DataOps philosophy in everything you do
    • Build trust in all interactions and with trusted data development
    • Collaborate with Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to drive efficiencies for their work
    • Collaborate with other functions to ensure data needs are addressed

What we expect from you:

    • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
    • Python/Scala/Java
    • Proficiency in data modeling (Dimensional data modeling, Data Vault, SCD, OBT, etc.)
    • Building data processing pipelines utilizing Apache Spark, DeltaLake, Apache Airflow, AWS services such as S3, EMR, Redshift, and MWAA is preferred
    • Message Brokers and distributed streaming platform
    • DB (SQL/NoSQL/Open formats)
    • Dev Tools (Git/Jira/etc.)
    • Data Privacy/Security
    • Data Development Principles/Process
    • Writing Requirements/Documentation
    • Practical familiarity with DataOps, Data Lake, Data Mart, and DataMesh/Data Hub principles
    • English B2
