We’ve been working on the product for 2 years and it is set to launch and create a new trend in 2019. Fred Bould (Designer of Nest products, Roku, GoPro) has designed the product & equally talented folks are leading the product development efforts. We’re committed to bringing on board individuals that are driven on making Airzai a success while working alongside our team.

We are currently looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join our growing team. The Engineer/Developer will work within a team of engineers and developers to perform one or more of the following duties listed below.

Roles and Responsibilities

    • Create, develop and implement design solutions in a 2D and 3D environment
    • Develop design solutions and evaluate based on expected performance, manufacturability, assembly and serviceability
    • Manage drawing packages and project documentation
    • Carry out technical investigations and engineering support activities to support design validations. Assist with product verification, troubleshooting and testing
    • Design production jigs and fixtures
    • Source and qualify vendors for new part designs and current product parts where required
    • Change design of existing parts to improve manufacturability, or reduce cost where required 

Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
    • Design experience (Mechanical, Electrical)
    • Courses related to manufacturing would be an asset
    • 6 - 10 years related experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with Consumer products
    • Proficient in CAD software preferably Creo and SolidWorks
    • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
    • Ability to work in groups as well as independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
