Ajax Systems is an international technology company, the largest developer and manufacturer of security systems in Europe.
The startup, created in 2011 in Ukraine, scaled into an international product company. Ajax security systems protect more than 3.5 million users in 187 countries.
Ajax products are a whole ecosystem of 180 devices, mobile and desktop apps, and server infrastructure.
The product line includes control panels, motion detectors, opening detectors, flood prevention, fire detectors, street and home sirens, alarm buttons with the appliances control function, smart sockets, and relays.

Requirements:
— 2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
— Experience with managing Linux-based systems and TCP/IP networking.
— Experience writing code in one or more languages, such as Python, Bash, and Groovy.
— Experience with Terraform.
— Experience with AWS stack: VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, Elasticache, Route53, Lambda, etc.
— Experience in creating continuous integration and continuous delivery CI/CD with Jenkins CI.
— Experience with git and Docker.
— Experience with Monitoring/Alerting: Datadog, OpsGenie.

Desirable:
— Elasticsearch stack (self-managed).
— Databases: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
— Hashicorp tools: Packer.
— Others: Terragrunt.

Responsibilities:
Proactively participate in the platform development:
— extend and support current CI/CD;
— provide cost optimization plans;
— build proactive monitoring;
— setup and develop Raspberry Pi images;
— grant access to different services;
— troubleshoot CI/CD failures;
— take part in an investigation on STAGE and PROD environments.
