Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management
- Finding and evaluating suppliers, products and services, negotiating contracts and acquiring the most cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality.
- Develops and negotiates long term relationships with strategic suppliers
- Manages Supplier risk by ensuring continuity business plans are in place for potential unpreventable interruption to the supply chain.
- Experience with global sourcing
- Take ownership of the purchasing budget, policy, guidelines and any associated documents.
- Main procurement KPI’s achievement
- Provide mentorship to department under control, set its objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance.
Requirements for a successful candidate:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or International Economic Relations is preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders.
- Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills: Applicants must have the ability to think critically working outside the box.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
- Proficiency in English (B2 and over) is required.
