JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. The successful candidate will support our Aldar Investment legal team on a broad range of real estate, commercial, and general corporate legal matters, working closely with teams across the development, asset management, investments, and leasing divisions.  This role offers exposure to high-value transactions across all asset classes as well as day-today legal operations and leasing in one of the region’s most dynamic real estate companies.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
        Provide paralegal support to the legal team across a variety of matters including real estate, leasing, corporate, and commercial matters.
        Assist in the preparation, review, and tracking of SPAs, leases, heads of terms, NDAs, and related documentation.
        Coordinate with external counsel, internal stakeholders, and government authorities as needed.
        Conduct legal research and maintain regulatory and legal compliance databases.
        Organize and manage legal documentation, filings, and contract archives.
        Support deal execution including document signing, notarisation, and corporate secretarial matters as needed.
·        Maintain a strong awareness of UAE real estate, corporate, and regulatory frameworks
 
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years’ UAE experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within a reputable law firm, real estate company, or corporate legal department

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE:
        Experience as a Company Secretary in a publicly listed company or equivalent experience in legal corporate governance.
        Strong experience in real estate and commercial transactions is essential.
        Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
        Arabic speaking preferred but not required

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
        In depth knowledge of UAE legal systems
        Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high volume environment
        Professional communication skills
        Ability to deal with senior executives and to work collaboratively as part of a team
        Skilled in drafting, document management, time management and negotiations.

QUALIFICATION
        A legal qualification (e.g. LLB or equivalent) is advantageous but not required
        Bachelor’s Degree
