As the Senior Business Analyst for the Alector team, you will work with the Sr. Director IT Business Partner to provide operational support to maintain and enhance systems that support the Development Organization.
Key Goals & Accountabilities:
- Provide Operational Support (includes management of system access and permissions and monitor health of GxP systems)
- Perform change management activities per established Change management procedures
- Engage with users and the Veeva technical team to analyze and resolve issues
- Maintain Systems and systems Operations/Administration documentation
- Analyze user enhancement requests to deliver solutions focused on establishing and improving business processes that improve efficiency, address process gaps, and enable automation and growth of the organization
- System Administration Experience with the Veeva Vault Platform and Vault Safety. Experience with FDA E2B (R3) Safety Gateway, Signal Detection and Medical Information/Safety integration.
- Experience with other regulated applications, such as ComplianceWire Learning Management Systems, Statistical Computing (SAS) and other Veeva Vault systems.
- Database and Computer Networking Knowledge
- Experience in maintenance and support of SaaS Systems
- Experience with Reporting and Analytics platforms and tools
- Taking ownership of new system implementations and systems enhancements projects
- Taking ownership of GxP Systems support
- Taking ownership of data compilation tasks (eg. Medical Affairs data extracts)
- Taking ownership of Systems Change processes
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience required
- Proven ability working on validated applications in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment, and Veeva experience. Veeva Vault certification required.
- Experience and knowledge of the quality, clinical and regulatory business processes.
- Direct hands-on experience implementing GxP computerized systems and maintaining systems in a validated state.
- Strong process improvement skills.
- Strong database experience. Snowflake experience and certification are desirable.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills using technologies like Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire etc.
- Master Data Management experience is desirable
- Must have demonstrated business and technology skills with success in providing technology solutions.
$150,000 - $180,000 a year
