Position: Nurse Practitioner
Access Healthcare Multi-Specialty Group, an independent Multi-Specialty practice, including Family Medicine, located in Forest, VA, is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This is an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join an established, successful, independent Family Medicine practice of over 20 years.

- Manage patients with chronic disease like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD and CHF
- Make referrals to Specialists like: Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, etc., when necessary
- Annual Physical Exams
- Women’s Health Annual Exams
- Acute/Same day appointments
- Athena (user friendly EMR)
Requirements of the opportunity:
- Completed Master’s Degree as NP with Family Medicine emphasis
- Virginia State Medical License
- DEA
- Comfort with Pelvic/Pap exam
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with strength in EMR note taking
- Adherence to Medicare and Medicaid billing/coding guidelines
- CPR/BCLS Certified
- Quality Focused and in an Accountable Care Organization
- Prior experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner is preferred
