We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Product Owner with a strong background in Salesforce and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product management, Salesforce platform, related technologies and AI, and will be responsible for driving the vision and execution of our product roadmap.
The Senior Product Owner will report directly to the VP of Enterprise Systems and will work closely with other leaders in the organization to make our CRM product vision a reality.
We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or from our HQ office in Bethesda, MD.
Primary Duties:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce and CRM related product matters.
- Understand customer needs and gather product requirements, while prioritizing features to align with the business goals.
Additional Duties:
Aptitude for consolidating and prioritizing Enterprise System enhancement requests from multiple stakeholders across multiple lines of business into a single intake pipeline per Scrum team:
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Key decision maker and ability to make tradeoff compromises for the greatest overall benefit of the Enterprise
- Experience with business case analysis and leveraging ROI as a key factor in the prioritization process
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and data science to deliver high-quality products:
- Ability to translate complex business process steps into technical requirements
- Ability to translate technically complex concepts into business terminology
Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market trends, competition, and user requirements in the Salesforce and CRM domain
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on software products and technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Salesforce platform and related CRM technologies including AI.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products, and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.
- Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred knowledge, skills and/or abilities:
- Salesforce and AI-related certifications are a plus
- Agile related certifications is a plus.
