We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a strong knowledge of medical terminology. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing quality care to our patients and who is committed to helping us maintain a positive and professional environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Benefits: On-the-job training

Schedule: Monday to Friday; Morning shift; No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate: Sarasota, FL 34239: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience: Medical office: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In person


    • Greet patients and provide them with a positive experience.
    • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner.
    • Schedule appointments for patients and provide them with necessary information.
    • Collect patient information, including contact details, medical history, and insurance information.
    • Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain authorization for services.
    • Enter patient information into the electronic medical record system.
    • Handle billing inquiries from patients and insurance companies.
