We are actively searching for a Value Based Care (VBC) Performance Analyst to join the team. With the direction of the VBC Performance Manager, the VBC Performance Analyst will conduct data analysis, track key performance indicators, and provide detail-oriented operational support to ensure our practices’ success in Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and health plan payer contracts (Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid).
In addition, the VBC Performance Analyst will collaborate with Aledade’s field teams across the United States and with health plan payer partners to achieve mutually defined performance goals. The VBC Performance Analyst must be mission-driven, detail-oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and fluent in Google Suite tools such as Google Sheets.

Your footprint & specific duties within role:

    • Execute data analysis of trends and strategy opportunities for quality improvement across Aledade’s value based care portfolio.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to health service utilization, cost of care, quality measure performance, and shared savings for MSSP and health plan payer contracts (Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid). 
    • Develop strong understanding on payer-specific quality programs and partner with subject matter experts to learn and develop practice workflows for addressing quality measures.
    • Conducting the assessment of determining opportunities for reducing unnecessary costs, driving quality performance improvement, and for promoting primary care.
    • Generate monthly patient-level quality reports to be shared with practices in a timely fashion.
    • Facilitate communication amongst internal and external key stakeholders regarding data, strategy, and operations.
    • Support preparation for internal and external meetings.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
    • 1+ years of relevant work and / or internship experience. 
    • Experience using Google Sheets or Excel as a data management tool; comfortable with formulas and creating pivot tables.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

    • Understanding of commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid health plan payor contracts
    • Experience using Tableau or other data management software
    • Familiarity with Stars/ HEDIS quality measures
