Position: Medical Assistant

Hillside Primary Care is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our growing family!

1. High school graduate or GED

And or Current MA, EMT or medical equivalent training

2. Three-years medical experience in hospital or clinic type setting

• Medical terminology

• Able to prioritize and multitask

• Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing the highest level of patient care

• Follow HIPAA guidelines

BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH IS A ++

• Screens patients for appropriate information and enters it into the EMR system (i.e. vitals, medications, diagnosis and medical history)

• Perform vital signs

• Perform EKGs as ordered by provider

• Preparing and administering of medications either IM or PO

• Assisting providers with medical procedures

• Stocking and cleaning of rooms

• Other duties as given by office manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
