As a Senior Manager of Sales Operations, you'll be the strategic architect behind our sales team's motivation and success, designing incentive programs that drive exceptional performance while ensuring profitable customer deals.

This goes beyond program administration - you'll be the go-to expert for sales compensation strategy, diving deep into deal economics and pipeline analytics to uncover insights that shape how we motivate teams and structure offers. Working at the intersection of Finance, Payroll, and Sales Leadership, you'll use data-driven analysis to balance seller motivation, compensation fairness, and customer profitability.

You'll have the autonomy to innovate within incentive frameworks while seeing the direct impact of your strategic work on sales performance and business results. This role is perfect for someone who loves using data to drive sales excellence and wants to shape how a growing organization motivates and rewards its revenue teams.

Primary Duties:

Sales Compensation Program Management

    • Design, develop, and continuously optimize sales compensation plans across all sales roles and segments
    • Administer  monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation payouts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
    • Partner with Finance and Payroll to establish compensation accrual processes and payment workflows
    • Conduct regular compensation plan performance analysis and recommend optimization strategies
    • Manage quota setting processes, territory assignments, and compensation dispute resolution
    • Develop and maintain compensation modeling tools for scenario planning and budget forecasting
    • Create and maintain comprehensive compensation plan documentation and communication materials

Prospect Financial Offer Management and Reporting

    • Monitor and track financial offers extended in the sales process against approved budgets
    • Analyze offer utilization patterns, win rates, and margin impact across different deal types
    • Partner with Finance to forecast offer spend based on sales pipeline and historical conversion data
    • Establish offer governance processes and escalation procedures for non-standard requests
    • Conduct regular offer performance analysis to optimize offer strategy 
    • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to ensure offer guidelines align with go-to-market strategy

Cross-Functional Partnership

    • Serve as primary liaison with Finance for all sales compensation and prospect offer matters
    • Partner with Payroll to ensure seamless compensation processing
    • Collaborate with Sales Operations on territory planning, quota setting, and performance metrics
    • Work with Legal on contract terms, offer compliance, and risk management protocols
    • Support HR with compensation philosophy development and equity considerations
    • Partner with GTM and leadership to ensure seamless deal offer management and tracking to budget

Minimum Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience in sales support, operations, compensation, offer management, or revenue operations
    • Experience designing and administering sales compensation plans
    • Strong background in customer deal strategy and deal economics management
    • Experience working closely with Finance and Payroll teams on compensation processes
    • Proven track record in high-growth B2B environments 
    • Experiencing working with Excel/Google Sheets skills including complex financial modeling
    • Strong experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data analysis
    • Experience with deal approval workflow systems and pricing optimization tools
    • Ability to present complex compensation and pricing concepts to diverse audiences
    • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
    • Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations
    • Proven ability to build trust and credibility with Finance, Sales, and executive teams

Preferred KSA's:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance,Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
    • Experience with enterprise B2B pricing models and complex deal structures
    • Background in consulting or previous experience at high-growth technology companies

Physical Requirements:

    • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
