The Specialist, Payer Growth must deeply understand the terms and levers of value capture within each of the payer products for which this role is responsible, requiring healthcare payer-based industry knowledge. This role will coordinate and project manage across a cross-functional team of payer contract (product) growth stakeholders responsible for advancing each product from initial contract to go-to-market for client practice enrollment. 

We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the U.S. or from our office in Bethesda, MD, Durham, NC or Austin, TX.

Primary Duties:

    • Serve as single-threaded-owner/ project coordinator of each assigned payer product from contract  to product offer activation and growth measurement
    • Collaborate with members of the Payer Strategy, Performance, Market P/L, Corp Marketing and Sales teams in ensuring product understanding and meeting growth goals 
    • Research and develop strategies to better understand and communicate with healthcare payers and understand/ convey payers’ value-based care contract terms which are relevant and desirable to primary care providers
    • Develop, launch, and manage strategy for Payer segment and run ABM campaigns
    • Report on campaign performance, drawing evidence-based insights and recommendations

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Value-based care, Marketing, Business, Economics, Health Admin or a related degree
    • 3-5 years combined experience in any of the following: value-based care, marketing operations, campaign management, demand generation, B2B marketing
    • Direct, relevant work experience in Payer Contract/ Product Marketing strongly preferred 

Preferred KSA's:

    • Experience working with healthcare payers
    • Project management software experience; Salesforce and Monday.com experience strongly preferred
    • Proven ability to multitask, stay organized and communicate well with other stakeholders
    • Advanced communication and writing skills; ability to lead discussions across seniority levels
    • Self starter and deference to action; demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with, at times, minimal direct supervision
